On June 13, 2019 the Toronto Raptors became the first Canadian team to ever win the NBA Championship title, and on June 17th the city of Toronto held a parade that traveled throughout the downtown core. On June 9, 1993 the first film of the Jurassic Park franchise was released by Universal Pictures, based on the novel by Michael Crichton and directed by Steven Spielberg.
